Deacons are called as servant-leaders to guide in the spiritual life of the Church. Members of the Diaconate Board provide confidential counseling, spiritual shepherding and Christian care to the Congregation. Each Deacon ministers to an assigned group of members known as their Diaconate Group. They bring spiritual and practical assistance to the Groups in the form of Communion, food supplements and necessities for health care. They serve as Church officers, help to plan worship services and assist in the ordinances of Communion and Baptism.
